Vincent Davies is a modern, vibrant department store showcasing a spectrum of interesting brands across a range of departments. Like our slogan says, we really have something for Every Room, Every Season and Everyone.
Proud to be family owned and run, we owe our thanks to Vincent Davies himself, who started the business in 1906, in a small town centre shop on the corner of Friar’s Lane, Bridge Street, Haverfordwest. The shop was known then as Pioneer Stores and was a traditional grocery store.
By 1966 the business had outgrown its town centre premises and Vincent’s eldest son Ralph, who was now running the business, took the bold step of purchasing a larger out-of-town property on the Fishguard Road.
Over fifty years later, the business is in the capable hands of Ralph’s two granddaughters – Sarah and Lindsey – and is now a well-known department store attracting customers from all over West Wales and deliver furniture regularly to Mid & East Wales.
Vincent Davies is well known for it’s customer experience, excellent customer service, quality, value and choice of goods. As well as the Cafe with a view.
